Parliamentary secretary for transport and mechanical engineering, P. Dako Phom inaugurated the NST Commercial Complex at Wokha Saturday. While dedicating the building to the people of the district, he also urged the public to make the best use of it.
“Being a revenue department, we are not satisfied with our performance”, he said and further disclosed that departments have been initiating different revenue generating schemes.
Earlier, Dr. Chumben Murry, minister for agriculture, said the construction of the building by the department was a step forward and thanked the department on behalf of the citizens of Wokha, stated an official bulletin.
He also stated that NST commercial complex could serve the commercial purpose not only for Kyongs but Nagas in general, being situated in the national highway. The programme was chaired by Rovilatuo Mor, deputy commissioner Wokha while Pekrusetuo Angami G.M (NST) highlighted the technicalities involved in the construction of the building.
