State CIC Talitemjen visits Dimapur

State Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) for Right to Information (RTI), Talitemjen on Monday said the main objective of visiting various districts was to monitor and take assessment whether people are heading in a right direction and people are benefiting after the implementation of RTI Act.
According to an official bulletin, while interacting with the Public Information Officers (PIO’s) and Assistant Public Information Officers (APIO’s) of various departments under Dimapur at DC’s Conference Hall, Talitemjen said Nagaland state had entered into its fifth year since the implementation of RTI Act way back in 2005.
He said that for proper implementation of the RTI Act, larger responsibility lied with head of departments and subordinates to supply necessary information to its designated PIO’s and APIO’s for successful implementation of this Act within the department.
State chief information commissioner also interacted and took assessment with various PIO’s and APIO’s at the meeting.
