BJP Nagaland has reiterated that the party was determined to exhume corruption in the entire department including essential commodities in the state.
The BJP alleged that the ruling government was unable to bring justice to the general public and “is fully drunk in merry making on Road Shows” while the poor and needy people were dying with starvation. BJP Nagaland secretary N. David Zeliang in a press release stated the party would create awareness to the villagers who do not know how to avail their due share of benefits from schemes such as village grain bank, SC/ST/OBC hostel scheme, welfare scheme, Antyodaya Anna Yojna, NPAG under women and child development, WBNP under social welfare, APL rice and wheat, BPL rice and wheat, Annapurna rice and levy sugar. State BJP secretary stated that the party had met with the authority of food and civil supplies and appraised the problems faced by the poor people in the state. In this connection, BJP has appealed to the public to cooperate with the party to eradicate corruption from its roots.
