CMS organizes handicraft exhibition cum sales day at Tsg

With an aim to expose skilled works in handicraft sector at rural areas, Changsangli Multipurpose Society (CMS) Tuensang on Friday organized a handicraft exhibition cum sales day at Tuensang.
The programme was inaugurated by S. Akhaba Sangtam, functional manger district industries centre Tuensang as chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Akhaba said the achievement and contribution made by CMS was immense in Tuensang district and also urged them to uphold the society in a proper way for the welfare benefits of the society. Stressing on the importance of handicraft, Akhaba said the state government’s has declared 2010 as ‘Year of Entrepreneurship’ and called upon societies to approach the department from every possible ways. Further, he appealed the societies to expose their talent in the field of handicrafts in order to compete in the state and national level.
Earlier, the inauguration programme was chaired by Sentila, programme coordinator IGNOU-CNRI Tuensang branch, while invocation pronounced by W. Chingmak GB officer sector and welcome address by S. Nangba programme
Secretary and Living Hope Handicraft Welfare Society presented a special number. Y. Allen Pastor YBC Tuensang shared the word on God while vote of thanks was proposed by Chingmak Ramji Board chairman, benediction by C. Akang Aier, evangelist IEF. Altogether, three societies including, Living Hope Handicraft Welfare Society, Chemshu Handicraft Welfare Society and Amaenbu SHG 3rd NAP Tuensang participated at the handicraft exhibition cum sales day.
