Notes of gratitude

USSC: United Sangtam Students’ Conference has appreciated the district administration and department of power for providing one additional 100 KV transformer and restoring 500KV transformer at Kiphire, for which the district headquarter had earlier faced black out from September 7 till November 5. The conference also appealed to the authority to install one 100KV transformer separately for district civil hospital for its use, especially during course of operation.
While appreciating the works of the authority and patience of the public, the USSC also stated that the public may not tolerate such kind of inconvenience in the future.
USLB: United Sangtam Likhum Bumji (USLB) has expressed gratitude to FGN government for safe release of GBs secretary, Kiphire district. “The unharmed releases reveals clear indication to safeguard peace and unity in the state”, added USLB. USLB further appreciated the support extended by CPO, PAPO, district administration of Phek, Kiphire, Chezhuba and joint forum of GBs and DBs of Kiphire.
GPS Kiyezu ‘A’: The staff of government primary school Kiyezu ‘A’ under the establishment of deputy inspector of schools Niuland has thanked education department and government of Nagaland for providing mid-day meal under SSA.
OHCC: Officers’ Hill Colony Council (OHCC) Kohima has expressed gratitude to executive engineer, R&B (south) PWD, Er. Kezhazelhou Theünuo and his subordinates for personally initiating in repairing the colony’s road that was completely damaged by landslides for the last 8 months. The council has further thanked Officers’ Hill GB and party for their supervision during the work.
NCRC Sumi women: NCRC Sumi women annual conference was held at Sastami village from November 5 to 7. The chairperson, women standing committee Kahuli P. Achumi expressed gratitude to all speakers, host church and participants. The chairperson also acknowledged the contribution by Mrs & Mr. Howoto jakhalu, Mrs & Mr. Kavito Jakhalu and Mrs & Er. Hutoi women department.
YMU: Yaongyimchen Mothers’ Union Longleng (YMU) has expressed gratitude to the management of Yingli Mission Society for organizing one day Couple Seminar for its members on October 25 at Longleng as part of Yingli Family Counseling Centre (FCC) programs, through which 40 young couples of its members immensely benefited.
Domestic violence against women, women’s health and HIV, women’s participation in decision making, best life management were some the participatory topics that excited the participants.
YMU further thanked resource persons of the seminar Carolyn, H. Beau Phom and Themjen Phom.
VEC Yongkhao: Village education committee (VEC) Yongkhao under Tobu sub-division has expressed gratitude to deputy inspector of school (DIS) Tobu, staff and SSA scheme for issuing mid-day meal (MDM) at Tobu on November 12.
