Painting competition on ARSH in Tuensang

Department of health and family welfare, Tuensang conducted a painting competition on November 13 at town hall under the theme “Leisure” at the culminating day of Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health (ARSH) activity for schools.
Prior to the competition, a team from medical department including District Immunization Officer (DIO) Tuensang Dr. Lanuchuba, district programme manager Tuensang Kevin, district media officer, block programme manager (BPM) Thonoknyu Peshie gave health talks in all the schools on ARSH. The competition was participated by five students each from five schools which included Government higher secondary school Tuensang, St. Xavier’s school, Akum Imlong school, St. Joseph’s school and Government Thangjam high school. The competition was adjudged on categories including relevance to the theme, cleanliness and best use of colors.
The first position was bagged by Laam of Akum Imlong School with prize money of `2000 and certificate of merit, J. Lunso of government Thangjam school, second position with prize money of `1500 and merit certificate and Kumtsu of St. Joseph’s school with prize money of `1000 and merit certificate bagged the third position.
All the participants were given certificate of participation.
