Police rescues abducted person

A non-local person who was reportedly abducted by his ex-wife in connivance with some locals on Sunday evening was rescued by the police the same night. According to well placed sources, the victim had received call from his ex-wife on Sunday afternoon asking him to come over to Burma Camp to discuss some matter. However on reaching there, the victim was forcibly taken in an auto rickshaw to Half Nagarjan. On reaching there, he was locked inside a room and was asked to make arrangements to pay a ransom of `60,000 for his safe release. The victim then called up his head mason (mistry) who in turn informed his owner. Immediately the police were informed and the victim was rescued from Half Nagarjan. Police also arrested the victim’s ex-wife identified as Mirzina along with Longe Phom and Takon Phom.
