All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association (ANPWDFWA) on Monday appealed to the state government to release pending salary of work-charged employees by November 25.
The association in a press note issued by its president Inakhu Aye and general secretary Atovi Awomi stated that employees were facing “immense hardship” due to their pending salary, to the extent that they were unable to clear their children’s school fees for the current academic year.
ANPWDFWA also urged the state government to fill regular vacancies with senior work-charged employees as per association’s memorandum issued July 12 last, and also as per government’s adopted policy and scheme for regularization of service of work-charged employees.
Meanwhile, the association has informed work-charged employees of PWD (R&B) and housing and all unit presidents to submit their membership fee for 2010 during “disbursement of next LOC”.
Authorized office bearers have been directed to submit collected membership fees to ANPWDFWA president and general secretary.
