GPRN/NSCN to enforce blanket ban on donation

Joint Council meeting, GPRN/NSCN on Tuesday resolved to impose blanket ban on all forms of donation on shopkeepers and business establishments either by national workers or by anti-social elements. GPRN/NSCN has directed all its civil and military authorities in all regions to abide by the council resolution. The MIP GPRN/NSCN in a statement said stringent disciplinary actions would be initiated against any official, central or regional who were found tarnishing the image of the GPRN/NSCN by indulging in activity contrary to the Joint Council resolution.
The GPRN/NSCN has also requested proprietors of shops and other establishments, if called over phone seeking donation or served with donation notes, to promptly contact its competent civil and military authorities so that the culprits were apprehended and penalized befittingly. GPRN/NSCN has sought co-operation of all citizens in its effort to curb the menace of donation especially during the festive months.
According to the MIP, the Joint Council meeting also resolved to strongly uphold and strengthen reconciliation and peace among the Nagas, despite the visible attempt from some corners to destabilize and sabotage the Naga Reconciliation Process spearheaded by FNR.
