DBHSS Wokha annual parents’ day held

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS) Wokha held its annual parents day-cum-felicitation programme on October 30 at DBHSS play ground with commissioner & secretary school education Mhathung Kithan as chief guest. Addressing the gathering, Kithan lauded the performance of the students of the school and urged upon parents to take the responsibility of moulding the lives of children, stated an official bulletin.
He stated that the factor for good outcome of students was the collective responsibility of teachers, school managing board and each home and family.
Others who spoke at the programme included Khopenthung Tsopoe lecturer Mt. Tiyi College, Fr. Jacob of DBHSS Wokha, and Dr. Mhonjan Shitity.
On the occasion, the school felicitated Rev. Fr. Anto Tharakan on completion of 25 years of ordination; Rev. Sister Deonisia for 25 years of profession; Dr. Atheo Murry managing committee member; Stephen T.T. on completion of 25 years of service as mathematics teacher in the school; and Nyamo Tsanglao on completion of 25 years of service as Hindi teacher in the school.
