ATAN on written test call

Swiftly reacting to school education department’s call for written test November 13, the Aggrieved Teachers’ Association of Nagaland (ATAN) today said the call was contrary to its representations and subsequent demands. Nagaland school education department November 2 had informed all teachers, listed under ‘bogus’ category and confirmed to be in possession of forged appointment letters, to appear for written test on November 13, 10 a.m. in government higher secondary school, Kohima. According to ATAN executives the latest call was also contrary to the decision agreed upon in the meeting attend by ATAN members and government officials September 14 last at the chamber of state minister school education. Meanwhile, the association said it has resolved to decide upon the “next course of action” after intimation with department officials.
