Action committee to check anti-social elements

Taking serious note of miscreants frequently disrupting tranquil atmosphere of Nagaland Pulp & Paper Limited (NPPC Ltd) Colony, particularly the company’s hill top guest house, Ad-hoc Town Committee (ATC) Tzudikong town has formed an action committee comprising of 50 members to check such activities. ATC Tzudikong vice chairman O. Benjung Jamir informed that the committee was formed at a joint meeting of the ATC and office bearers of all 10 wards under its jurisdiction on November 28. He also stated that the action committee would be keeping strict vigil at all vulnerable locations of the town, coordinating with ATC to take appropriate action against defaulters.
ATC Tzudikong further appealed for cooperation from all NGOs of the surrounding areas, particularly management and employees of NPPC Ltd. for successful implementation of peaceful coexistence.
