Degree engineering courses

Directorate of technical education has informed all interested students intending to pursue degree engineering courses that NIT, Nagaland would start functioning from 2011 at Dimapur.
Additional director and HoD, technical education, A. Kathipri stated that admission to all NIT’s would be solely through AIEEE conducted by CBSE, every year and AIEEE, 2011 would be held on April 24. Application form would be made available from 1st week of December to 1st week of January, 2011 at the designated examination centre for Nagaland at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Lerie Hills, Kohima. All students desiring to take up degree engineering courses in reputed technical institutions have been advised to sit for the AIEEE.
Students wishing to pursue B. Arch/ B. Planning have also been advised to take AIEEE, 2011, or else clear National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA) even if they are selected through state JEE, stated Kathipri. Further details can be accessed at
