I Congratulate and extend my heartiest greetings to the Editor, the staff and employees of the Nagaland post on the commemoration of its 20th year of publication. Nagaland Post has not only been the first local English daily in the State but in its innings of two illustrious decades, it has played a leading and a laudable role in projecting the value and importance of the Fourth Estate. Apart from wide coverage of news and events from within and outside the State, the newspaper has also immensely contributed in educating the people on varied subjects and in also widening the spectrum of knowledge of its readers through quality news reporting. It has also, along with the rest of the media fraternity, truly played the role of a well sensitised and a responsible Fourth Estate thus contributing towards the strengthening of our democracy.
The Editor, staff and all the other members of the organisation, both present and past deserve to be complimented on completing 20 momentous years of its existence. I am confident that the newspaper will continue to serve the people and make further contributions to the progress and advancement of our society.
I wish the newspaper all success and extend my best wishes to all your future endeavours.
