Singing competition at ‘Kids Carnival’

As part of the Hornbill Festival, 2010, the much awaited Kids Carnival 2010 started on Friday with fancy dress competition.
In the singing competition, the first prize was bagged by Koneitei-ii from Little Flower School Higher Secondary School and awarded `1000 while the second was bagged by Shawalo, Grace School with `500. The judges were Mezivolu Therieh, judicial magistrate and Rokovotuo, Naga Idol 2007.
On December 4 at 1pm there will be painting/drawing competition. The competition is categorized for the students in three groups – Group-A (Class 1 to 3), Group-B (Class 4 to 6) and Group-C-C (Class 7 to 9).
Participants for the painting/drawing the participants have to bring their own water colours/ tools.
Papers for painting will be provided for the participants. Students should report to the venue at 12:30noon, half an hour before competition begins.
