Governor Nikhil to grace folklore congress

Nagaland Governor, Nikhil Kumar would be the chief guest at the inaugural function of the 34th Meet of the Indian Folklore Congress on December 9. The inaugural programme would be held at Imagine Hall, ATI, Kohima at 10 a.m and is organized by Anthropological Society of Nagaland & Women’s Studies Center, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus and sponsored by IGNCA, New Delhi, CIII, Mysore, NEZCC Dimapur, ICSSR (NERC) Shillong, ICHR New Delhi, NU & ASN, Nagaland. Keynote address at the inaugural function would be delivered by president, Indian Folklore Congress, Prof. Jawaharlal Handoo. Welcome address would be delivered by Dr. Anungla Aier. The two-day meet would witness a number of sessions with prominent scholars from the country as resource persons. The Folklore Congress would culminate on December 11, informed an official bulletin.
