Chen Area Union, (CAU) Tizit celebrated its silver anniversary on December 3 on the theme ‘Unity in Touch’ with MLA & chairman development authority of Nagaland, Aloh Wangham as chief guest at Tizit public ground.
Speaking as the chief guest, Aloh called upon the people to be peace loving citizens, and also urged them to learn to co-exist together.
He also donated a sum of Rs.20,000 towards the union fund. Ex-MP Lok Sabha, W. Wangyuh Konyak also exhorted the gathering.
Speaking as main speaker, A. Yamong called upon the gathering to be united and work hard to create a better society.
The programme was chaired by Mongya while invocation prayer was pronounced by Konyak Town Baptist Church, B.T. Benang and vote of thanks by union Advisor, Poba.
Three choir groups presented special songs during the programme.
