Aonglenden AC seat vacant
DIMAPUR: Consequent on the death of Nungshizenba, member of 11th Nagaland Legislative Assembly elected from 26th Aonglenden (ST) assembly constituency, the 26-Aonglenden (ST) Assembly Constituency seat has become vacant. This was informed in a notification issued by secretary, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, A.E Lotha.
Renewal of trade permit in Wokha
Dimapur: Wokha Town Council (WTC) has notified to all shopkeepers and business establishment of Wokha town to renew trade permit till December 20 for the year 2011.
Wokha Town Council administrator, Athel O Lotha has directed that Rs. 100 would be imposed per day as late fine and `2,500 imposed against defaulters.
In view of Christmas and New Year seasons, all business establishments have been directed to decorate their shops by painting the wall, putting light bulb in front of the shop and to remain open till 6-7pm everyday.
The order has been enforced with immediate effect, stated Wokha Town Council, adding `5000 would be imposed against defaulters.
ZUC annual day, picnic cum 36th session
DIMAPUR: Zhadima Union Chakhro (ZUC) annual day, picnic cum 36th session would be held on December 7 at 10am at T. L. Angami Park and Jordan tourist lodge New Chumoukedima. Ruokuolhou Tachu, Advizor, Chakhroma Youth Organization would be the chief guest. All those from Zhadima as well as in-laws and family members have been requested to attend. Seminar conducted at Akuhaito area : CMO office Zunheboto Hekuto Sema DPO (NVBDCP) and his staff conducted a seminar and distributed bed net collection of blood at Akuhaito area on November 30. This was informed through a press note issued by K. Hukato Shohe GB Roto.

DTDU new office opened: Dimapur Taxi Drivers Union (DTDU) has opened a new office at super market complex, H/No GC-29. In a press note president, DTDU stated the main objective of opening a new office was to protect the physical, social and economic well being of the taxi drivers from danger of exploitation, harassment. Disability camp in Mon: Medical Superintendent District Hospital Mon, Dr. M.A Wati has informed that one day disability camp would be held on every 1st day of the month w.e.f December 2010 at OPD Civil Hospital Mon.
