NIITians celebrated ‘World Computer Literacy Day’ and ‘Pre-Christmas’ at NIIT Dimapur Centre on December 2 with Imna Imchen, principal, Reformation Bible College, Dimapur as resource person.
The resource person shared his personal experiences regarding his own tryst with computer literacy.
Exhorting the NIITians to be open minded and adaptable to change, he asked them to relocate if required, and to look for only private jobs. Commenting on the casual attitude of Naga youth, he asked them to take risks for higher growth and entrepreneurship development. On this occasion, songs and dances were presented by NIITians as a part of pre-Christmas celebrations.
Nationally, NIIT has taken a pro-active role to improve computer literacy by seeking NIITians’ self-goal of “Each one empowers one”. NIIT Dimapur would be offering free two-hour hands-on session for all the parents of NIITians on December 11 to 18.
