Dimapur district citizens’ forum (DDCF) has lauded the initiatives taken by FNR in bringing the covenant of reconciliation and bringing various Naga underground leaders together. The forum’s president Hokiye Yepthomi and general secretary I. Temjen Jamir in a press statement appreciated the state government in its effort to enforce law and order in the land and at the same time also requested the authority to book the culprits involved in kidnapping of Hariram Gupta as per the law at the earliest. Further, the forum sought the intervention of the state government as well as the district administration to be more vigilant and provide proper security to the people during Christmas and New Year celebration. Forum also wished all citizens of Dimapur and Nagaland a ‘Merry Christmas’ and prosperous ‘Happy New Year’.
