Public dustbins provided at Pfutsero

Altogether, 30 public dustbins made from thinner drums were provided to Pfutsero town in connection with total sanitation campaign organized by Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) sponsored through CCDU, PHED.
Under the aegis of Chakhesang Baptist Church Council, students of Baptist Theological College participated in installing public dustbins in several strategic places in and around Pfutsero town at the mass social work at Pfutsero town on December 6.
It may be stated that under total sanitation campaign a total of 7106 individual household latrine units in 39 villages were completed through the undertaking of Chakhesang Baptist Church Council, the sole implementing agency of the Total Sanitation campaign in Pfutsero, Phek and Chozuba subdivisions.
Meanwhile, Chakhesang Baptist Church Council expressed gratitude to all Churches and villages under its jurisdiction for their co-operation and support towards timely completion of the project. CBCC also appreciated Mantu Singh, proprietor of NK Roofing, Khermahal, Dimapur and Mahesh Senotsu Enterprises, Purna Bazar for supplying the construction materials at a subsidized rate in the interest of the rural poor and needy.
