Five UKDA militants surrender

Five militants of the United Kukigram Defence Army today surrendered before the army here in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district. The militants laid down their arms before Brigadier A Bhuyan, in the presence of Karbi Anglong Deputy Commissioner S N Barman and Superintendent of Police K K Sarma, at a simple ceremony organised by the Five Rajputana Rifles here. The militants surrendered two AK-47 rifles, one M-20 rifle, a US made Carbine and a pistol.
