‘Colours of Nagaland’ concludes

: ‘Colours of Nagaland’ the Photo Contest at Millennium Hotel (Old Tourist Lodge) organized by XL in collaboration of Government of Nagaland concluded on Tuesday with 43 participants taking part in the competition. According to and official bulletin a total number of 85 photos were submitted by the participants. The photos were judged by well-known international photographer, Manish Khanna and Alban Von Stockhausen from Germany. The results of the contest would be declared on the official website,
An impressive collection of portraits and landscapes, all captured through the lens of the participants were put on display at the venue. The winners of the photo competition would receive a cash prize of `one lakh.
‘Gallery Monet’ exhibition
‘Gallery Monet’ a collection of photographs was exhibited at Bamboo Pavilion, Kisama. The exhibition featured works of 14 amateur and professional Naga photographers who were selected from a month long photography workshop which was organised earlier in the month of July in collaboration with the government of Nagaland. Initiated by Neteno Yhushii and Moala Ozukum the ‘Gallery Monet’ exhibition which was displayed during Hornbill festival attracted large number of visitors.
