New Life Bible College on Thursday celebrated advent Christmas with DMO Mon Dr Anitoli Swu as special guest.
Dr. Swu in her speech called upon students to look beyond the Church and work towards achieving a wholistic education. She urged students to change their ways according to God’s will so that He could use them for His purpose. ‘God can change everything, only if you are willing’ she said.
Elaborating on the concept of advent Christmas, Dr. Swu said the four Sundays before Christmas were divided into a day of hope, peace, joy and love respectively. She asserted that time before Christmas was a meditating time with God and that Christ can enter a heart only if one was repentant. While maintaining that celebration of advent Christmas was important, Dr. Swu urged them not to forget Jesus Christ in the middle of celebration. “Christmas is incomplete without Jesus” she affirmed.
Earlier, welcome speech was delivered by founder/director NLBC Rev. Dr. Xashepu Wotsa, vote of thanks by Pusuinla, principal of the college. Meanwhile a video CD on New Life Mission produced by the college was also released during the programme.
