Revise fare of helicopter, NST bus services

In continuation of the letter of the state’s transport and communication department, the Governor of Nagaland has revised the existing fares for helicopter services in the state for Bell -412 with effect from November 1.
As per the revised rates, the hourly flying charges (per hour) now stand at Rs. 65,000. Effective cost per minute- Rs.1,195 (inclusive of S. Tax @ 10.3%), At 75% subsidy per minute- Rs. 300 (round off to nearest Rs.10), fare of minor [email protected]% of the subsidized rate of 75% of adult fare and fare for infant- @10% of the subsidized rate of 75 %of adult fare.
Further, in view of the high increase of the prices of HSD and all other commodities, the Governor of Nagaland has also revised the existing bus fare rate of the Nagaland transport for all services.
Nagaland has also revised the existing bus fare rate of the Nagaland transport for all services. With this, the revised fare rate for Super Deluxe now stands at. Rs.109.42 from Rs.99.47, Mini Bus- Rs.109.39 from Rs.99.45, Semi Deluxe- Rs.109.39 from Rs.85.55 and Express- Rs.75.51 from Rs.68.65.
Revised rate of luggage etc includes; luggage- Rs.1.00 per quintal limited to 20 kgs @ Rs.1 per km, newspaper-Rs.0.80 paise per quintal/km limited to 10 kgs and hiring charge- to be fixed on the basis of the increase rate of fare over the existing rate of fare.
The revised fare shall come into force with immediate effect, a notification received here said. N. Hangsing, secretary to government of Nagaland said the notification has been issued with the concurrence of the finance department and cabinet approval.
