Tikhir Students’ Union (TSU) while reviewing its stand on November 5 assault case has flayed deputy commandant 3rd NAP Tuensang for non-publication of execution of disciplinary action against the erring jawans as per the agreement between him and TSU officials on November 22.
Union president R. Daniel and chairman, executive council Anthony Tsangmong stated the action on the part of the deputy commandant was “a shame on the part for not keeping his word if his meeting with Tikhir Students’ Union”.
Tikhir Students’ Union also reminded CO 3rd NAP Tuensang that the issue was far from over until and unless the execution of action against the erring jawans was made public through publication in the local dailies as agreed upon by the deputy commandant November 22.
He also cautioned that if no response was made within five days from the date of this publication, TSU would resort to its own course of action.
