Dmu cleanliness drive

In view of the mass social work to be carried out in Dimapur on November 19 from 9 am with active participation of all government employees, Dimapur Municipal Council, NGOs and public in all the wards, DC Dimapur has issued directives to all involved for the day: All the shop owners are directed to wash and paint their shops compulsorily. Government officers are directed to be present with their departmental vehicles and detail their vehicles at their own level to lift waste materials to the dumping sites from their respective colonies/office complex/wards. All colony/ward panchayats are directed to organize social work in their own colonies and continue till the waste and garbage are disposed off. SP Dimapur has been requested to deploy fire brigade OC with the fire tenders to wash and clean the roads, bridges and buildings in the town.
Business closure
All the traders and shopkeepers under the jurisdiction of Dimapur Municipal Council jurisdiction are to close from morning till 2 p.m. on Friday for emergency mass social work in Dimapur Town. The directive was issued by DMC Chief Executive Officer, Nikhashe Sema as a follow up of the joint meeting held on October 18 with all the head of department under Dimapur district. Public have been requested to co-operate and carry out social work in their respective homes and its surrounding.
