SBI inaugurated two more ATMs

State Bank of India opened its 45th ATM in Nagaland and 21st ATM in Dimapur at Assam Rifles Transit Camp, Anwar Hussain Road (Near Star Cinema Hall), Chakhesang Colony, Dimapur. The new ATMs were inaugurated by Maj. General C. A. Krishnan, IGAR (South) in the presence of A. K. Das, assistant general manager, State Bank of India, Regional Business Office, Dimapur, on November 18.
Chief guest, Maj General C. A. Krishnan in his speech appreciated the State Bank of India for their paramount services to the people in the region particularly Army Jawans in this part of the country. Installation of ATM at the Assam Rifles Transit Camp will benefit not only hundreds of soldiers and personnel who pass by Dimapur, but also to the denizens of Dimapur. He also urged the people to make the best use of the facility (ATM).
A. K. Das, assistant general manager, shared that more than ten thousand students’ accounts called “No Frills Account” have been opened by the bank for the students with “Zero Balance” during the couple of month. State Bank of India is taking technological banking like Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Credit Card, ATM, etc., to far flung areas of Nagaland and ATM will be set up at all important towns and remaining few district head quarter in the state.
