Guwahati gets NE’s largest music junction

Ace Audio Junction in association with Yamaha Music India Limited has launched ‘Yamaha Music Square’ for music lovers in Guwahati Friday.
Yamaha Music Square, a first of its kind music store was inaugurated by Akihiko Ikeya, Managing Director of Yamaha India Limited in presence of renowned musicians of North East India- Nise Meruno, Rudy Wahlang, Tipriti Kharbangar and Ribor MB Kharsing at Dihang Arcade.
Spread over 1500 sq ft, Junction is more than just a showroom for Yamaha’s musical products. It offers a sound-proof beat spot for customers to play and select the right instrument and a library with 500 handpicked books and CDs/DVDs on notations, basics and complexities of music, and the maestros. There are cartoon-driven music learners for children too.
The Junction also comes with a coaching class offering courses on piano, guitar, drums and keyboard by local and metro-based experts.
The initiative for bands includes providing them with free display space and selling their CDs without commission.
From Grand Pianos to the latest digital pianos, not to mention upright pianos everything is available under one roof. There are the elegant wind instruments such as flutes and trumpets, a fantastic range of guitars, portable keyboards, drum kits and many more are available for the music lovers.
“North East offers a lot for us and therefore we are here to provide best products to the music lovers,” IKeya said immediately after inauguration of the new .
