Pre-celebration programme of Lekromi 75th Gospel anniversary concluded on November 14. Dwelling on the theme: “Exalt His Name” (Psalms 34:3), the speakers challenged the congregation to exalt His name both by deeds and words.
Rev. Khrosto Mero, senior pastor, CBCK and Rev. Dr. K. Kapfo Director NRC while encouraging the congregation to keep up the faith, reminded the members on how God enabled the early Christians to sustain faith in the face of many oppositions and persecutions.
Dr. D. Kapfo (Rtd) medical director, Khalo, (Rtd) deputy commissioner and Kewechu Kapfo (Rtd) IGP (Prisons) exhorted the congregation and also stressed on the crucial role of Church leaders, village leaders and every individual in bringing transformation and renewal in society. The 75th Gospel anniversary choir, fathers group from Pfutsero town and the village presented special songs. The programme was attended by all representatives. The main celebration to be held from December 23 ad 24. Earlier, Rev. Zupelhi Mero offered a dedicatory prayer for the main celebration programme.
