NCSA general conference
KOHIMA: Nagaland Civil Service Association (NCSA) has informed all NCS officers that the 38th annual general conference would be held on November 26, 9.45am at Dimori Cove, Kigwema. Dr. Shurhozelie Liezitesu, minister for urban development and higher and technical education would be the chief guest at the inaugural function. All NCSA members have been requested to attend the conference.
Trade test in January 2011
KOHIMA: The directorate of employment and craftsmen training has informed that the All Indian Trade Test (suppl.) would be held in January 2011. Interested candidates willing to appear the AITT (suppl) may contact their respective ITI for detail information and submit the application on or before December 15.

Medical camp in Shamator
DIMAPUR: The 1st Assam Rifles would be conducting a medical camp on November 26 and 27 at Shamator town. All public and nearby villages have been requested to attend and avail services from the camp.
SBAZ silver jubilee
DIMAPUR: Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Zunheboto (SBAZ) mission department would be celebrating its silver jubilee on November 28. The celebration would be held under the theme “Seeking the lost” with Rev. Pikuto Yepthomi executive secretary SBAK Aizuto as the main speaker. All Church members and well wishers have been requested to be a part of the celebration.

DIMAPUR: Deputy inspector of schools, Dimapur has informed all genuine absentee teachers who have been declared as genuine on November 3, to report to the office of the deputy inspector of schools to sign ‘Undertaking’ for their pending salaries within three days from the publication of this notification.
CTC mass social work, cleanliness drive
DIMAPUR: Chumukedima Town Council (CTC) has informed that a mass social work and cleanliness drive would be held on November 24. In this regard, all ex-councilors and ward conveners have been requested to inform, mobilize, and supervise their respective wards. CTC further informed all traders/business establishments to remain close from 6am till 12pm and requested ward GBs to be present at the council’s office by 5:30am.
NSCN (I-M) imposes fine
DIMAPUR: Deputy Kilonser (home)-cum-Caretaker, union territory NSCN (I-M) Kihoto Yepthomi informed that in connection with the banned notice by NSCN (I-M) of union territory in local dailies, proprietor of ‘Pebbles Resto Lounge’ was imposed a fine of `60,000 for organizing a disco/DJ night. All proprietors of various restaurants within Dimapur has been reminded and cautioned once again to adhere with the banned notice imposed to safeguard the interest of the public and for a better young generation.
