The annual state executive meeting of Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress held on November 22 at District Congress Committee Office, Dimapur. The meeting was graced by Mahenderan, secretary of Indian Youth Congress and in charge of Nagaland state. The meeting was well attended by the office bearers of the NPYC and presidents of the District Youth Congress.
The meeting was chaired by Kuputo Shohe, president of NPYC and highlighted the activities of the youth congress in the state. Initiating the business of the house the visiting IYC official shared with his past personal experiences and how his dedicate service for the people had exalted him from the grass root to national level Youth Congress organizaion in a short span of time.
Dwelling on the activities of the youth Congress in the state, he stated that, as a leader if one was obsessed with negative thoughts, and was unsure of where he stood then nobody will follow him. As a leader, Mahenderan said one should know how to run the organization and urged upon the NPYC members to serve the people with zeal and enthusiasm.
“Instantly you may not get benefit out of your sincere effort but in the long run it will definitely it will lead you to success”, he added.
After discussion, the house decided to organize a Yatra on December 8, and also a state, district and assembly level Youth Congress one day political leadership training camp in the beginning of 2011.
