DIMAPUR: FGN has discharged “Capt.” Pukhato Yeputho of 6th Bde. S/C Naga Army from active “national service” with immediate effect due to “anti-national and anti-social” activities. According to FGN deputy commander-in-chief “Maj. Gen.” T.M. Rhakho, any meritorious awards awarded to Pukhato Yeputho during his “national service” would hereafter be treated as null and void.
Lost and found
Dimapur: A mobile set along with SIM card was found from the main highway in high school area. The rightful owner has been requested to contact, panchayat chairman, Dziiviirii (Potterlane) Kohima.
Sale of Amur Falcon banned
DIMAPUR: Additional deputy commissioner, Wokha, Athel O. Lotha has banned catching and selling of migratory birds (Amur Falcon). ADC through an official bulletin notified that catching, trapping and selling of migratory birds (Amur Falcon) at DHEP and its catchments area would be strictly prohibited with immediate effect. Violators would be dealt as per the provision of law, added the notification.
WVVU membership fee
DIMAPUR: All members of Dimapur under Western Viyixe Village Union (WVVU) yet to register has been informed to register to the union by paying membership fee of `5 per head. One may contact president WVVU, Yetovi Awomi at 8974695423 for necessary information.
