Department of Youth Resources and Sports (DYRS) will be conducting indigenous games during Hornbill Festival 2010 at Kisama.
The indigenous games selected for competition among Naga tribes are archery competition, top spinning competition, traditional fire making competition, greased bamboo pole climbing competition and Naga wrestling. Only two participants from every tribe are eligible for the competition.
DYRS requested all tribal hoho leaders to submit the list of participants to the directorate youth resources and sports (DYRS) Kohima on or before November 29. Prize money will be awarded to the best participants, the release added.
