USDP meet for Naga areas

USDP leaders of Naga self-administered zone November 26 had a meeting at Mandalay, Myanmar to discuss the development of Naga areas.
Junta-backed Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) had recently won the election in Myanmar amid allegations of widespread fraud. An e-mailed statement form Col. (Retd) Myanmar army Ru San Chu said the meeting particularly stressed on border road construction between India and Myanmar in consultation with central governments of India and Myanmar. “Continuously we are planning to connect with big companies from India,” said Ru San Chu.
UPDS candidates of Naga inhabited areas including Col (retd) Ru San Chu and MD of Shwe Naung Yan Company Nyaku had won the seats uncontested.
It was the first election in 20 years for Myanmar.
