Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) on Saturday held its executive meeting cum picnic at Dikhu river (Longkong village). At the meeting, a number of issues pertaining to MCCI were discussed that included the notice issued by MMC for opening of shops during the festive season till 7 pm from December 1. The Chamber resolved to have a consultation with MMC discuss various issues pertaining to the notice. The MCCI executive further discussed about the evening vegetable market which is to be opened under its umbrella to enhance accessibility to fresh vegetables for the general working mass and also to promote rural farmers of the district.The meeting further resolved to extend every possible help to the young and upcoming entrepreneurs to build a strong commercial cycle in the district and also to maintain cordial relationship among the members of the business community.
