The silver jubilee of Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC) Sumi youth was held from December 17 to 19 at Pughoboto Town.
The speakers for the programs were Rev. Kiyezhe Chishi, executive secretary, NCRC Sumi, Rev. Ahoshe Chophy, mission board director, NCRC, Rev. Kihoshe Assümi, pastor, NCRC, Vibo Sumi, youth secretary, NCRC Sumi and Kiyeho Yeptho, vice principal, Living Bible College.
Speaking on the theme of the jubilee, “Reap in joy”, each of the speakers stressed on the importance to reflect on the work done in the past to rejoice in the harvest.
The programs were filled with power-packed praise and worship led by Padumpukhuri NCRC and Living Bible College, Ayinato and choreography, impressive jubilee choir groups from Mishilimi, Purana Bazaar Church and Dimapur town Church.
Panel discussions and question hour were held on controversial topics at all levels. The resource persons were leaders from different town Churches, mission departments and intellectuals. The new office bearers for the next tenure were selected, wherein an official handing-over ceremony was conducted, followed by a dedication prayer by Rev. Kihoshe.
The 3-day conference saw an impressive turnout of delegates from all over Nagaland. Also joining the celebrations were the citizens of Pughoboto town, irrespective of denomination. The organizing committee thanked the host Church for their effort put in towards the success of the jubilee celebrations and sponsors and freewill contributors.
