UPDS peace accord likely within Jan 26

UPDS leaders have almost reached a deal with the Centre ahead of New Year. Addressing a gathering, spokesman of the UPDS mentioned that Central government on principal has agreed to all the demands of the organization and a formal declaration of the Territorial Council is likely to be announced either on January 26 or any other day.
Also, revealed that a single draft document had been submitted to the Cabinet Sub Committee formed by the Union government for transformation of the treaty into a formal bill. The committee would scrutinize and furnish the demands to the government of India within a period of fifteen days.
A five-member delegation of the UPDS led by general secretary S Bey and joint secretary (political affairs) W Mukrang were camping in the capital since last couple of days meeting senior officials of the Home Ministry and government's interlocutor informally.
