GPRN/NSCN has terminated from the service one of its members for his involvement in abduction of Hariram Gupta, a Dimapur businessman. Hariram Gupta was kidnapped November 25 last at Dimapur near Walford area and released the next day. A statement received here from MIP, GPRN/NSCN said one “tatar” identified as Jacob a.k.a Sevitao (44), of Sorbung village, Senapati; Manipur, has been terminated from “national service”, for his involvement in abduction for ransom of businessman Hariram Gupta. “He has disgraced every single Naga patriot by his greedy action which does not conform to revolutionary ethics and discipline. Such irresponsible action is a betrayal to the Nation and of self. His termination order takes effect immediately,” the MIP statement said. The GPRN/NSCN has made it clear that it would not let allow any official, whether civil or military in nexus with outsiders, destroy the Naga nation for greed and personal gratification. Meanwhile, the GPRN/NSCN said it would very soon hand over the remaining two culprits to “Indian Authorities” in presence of media, adding “because GPRN/NSCN is aware that there other elements from outside Nagaland who are yet to be apprehended.”
