Retailers asked to display MRP board

Consumer Society Dimapur district (CSDD) has informed all retailers, commodity manufacturers to display MRP notice board and to clearly print date of manufacture, expiry and name of unit, goods, products etc., for the convenience of all consumers.
All dealers, shopkeepers like motor parts, medicines, electronics goods etc., are requested to maintain original cash memo with VAT number prescribed under Nagaland VAT Act.
CSDD informed it was mandatory for all hotels, restaurants to display menu board, sign board and water filter pot and that uncovered food items, state food and self styled rate fixation was prohibited. CSDD also made compulsory for all shops, business institutions to maintain medical fitness certificate of employees.
CSDD has appealed to all business community and public of Dimapur and Nagaland not to entertain any donation or financial assistance in the name of CSDD and to contact 9436261538 and 9862574326 if such cases were reported.
