IGP (fire) clarifies

Inspector general of police (fire), who was charged by Nagaland law students’ federation (NLSF) of overstay in government service, Wednesday clarified to two points revealed by the federation. Responding to NLSF’s claim that he did not qualify NPSC examination in 1976, the IGP, in a release, said: “but it is not true, in fact that very year, I was undergoing dy.SP basic training course and I didn’t know in that year whether NPSC exams was held or not.” He also said that he had appeared for interview conducted by NPSC and qualified in the year 1981, adding nine of them got selected.
