Yoga class for security personnel

As a part of training curriculum, Assam Rifles is currently conducting a week long Art of Living capsule to include yoga classes for Assam Rifles personnel deployed in Nagaland.
Benefits of yoga and meditation are known stress busters and method of attaining both physical as well as mental well being.
Keeping this in view, IGAR (N) has been conducting week long training for its personnel at various places. Not only Assam Rifles personnel but even their families and children are being benefited from the training and yoga camp.
The yoga camps were also conducted at Tuensang and Mokokchung in month of December and are currently in progress at Kohima. IGAR (N) would be conducting similar camp at Dimapur from January 12 to 17.
During the inaugural day training at Kohima Maj Gen Sandeep Singh, SM, VSM IGAR (N) along with Yashmi Singh, president ARWWA joined the Assam Rifles personnel and their families at Karim Hall to do yoga and training.
He also urged personnel and families of IGAR (N) to take part in the training to derive maximum benefit out of the camp.
The yoga camp is being conducted by art of living organization under the aegis of DGAR. IGAR (N) has thanked DGAR for providing such facility to the troops engaged in maintaining peace in North East.
