Leaders of all Nagaland electricity field workers’ association (ANEFWA) would soon chalk out plans to launch agitation against government’s adamant attitude towards their pleas.
In connection with this, the association has informed all the zonal presidents to reach ANEFWA central office December 15.
According to ANEFWA president Panger Pongen, they have been demanding payment of salary to work-charged employees under power department, before Christmas, and promotion and filling up of all categories of technical posts caused due to retirement/death of staffs. However, the government, without valid reasons, was adamant in considering their genuine pleas.
Owing to this reason, Pongen said the association was planning to take own course of action to attain their “legal rights.”
Meanwhile, the association has urged the public to bear with it if the members cut short of their services during Christmas.
