ATAN has once again urged the government to understand its difficulties and announce the written test results at the earliest.
While lauding the state education department for taking up painstaking job and working overtime to resolve the ongoing “teachers issue”, the ATAN executives, in a communiqué, said: “However, the ATAN is deeply dismayed by the delay in declaring the written exam result, the same for which the viva-voce was scheduled on 18th and 19th of November, 2010.”
Also, reiterating on the uncertain fate of remaining teachers from bogus category, who were not called for exam, the aggrieved teachers further urged the department to consider this group of teachers in accordance with the press note from the office of commissioner and secretary dated September 13 published in local dailies.
“The lapse of two years in verifying alleged bogus Teachers Issue has caused untold miseries to the Affected Teachers and their families,” the ATAN executives said, and added that the remedy seemed to be out of sight till date. Pointing out that the issue has been dragged on for quite some time, the ATAN said those teachers who were beneficiaries of various loans were being harassed by the bank for recovering loans.
Meanwhile, the ATAN executives have appealed to all its members to be patient and understand the difficulties faced by the department and cooperate for positive and early result declaration.
