MCCI celebrates 23th foundation day

Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) commemorated its 23rd foundation day on Wednesday at Hotel Metsüben (Tourist Lodge) Mokokchung.
Speaking on the occasion, Moasangba Jamir, vice president MCCI said Mokokchung was a place of creativity and ideas which others had also endorsed upon.
He also deliberated the need of costumer satisfaction as a vital part of business.
Asking the members to be fully aware of the fact that costumers, producers and planners in governance jointly organized to form a community where everyone had its part to play, he called upon the members to understand the fact that one cannot survive without the other.
He suggested the members must be ready to extend positive support on the upcoming Alichen-Doyang-Niuland Road which would be a prima facie for opening new insight and opportunity in business.
M. Bendangnukshi Longkumer, senior advisor, MCCI also stressed on the need for hard work and continuity.
He said, “Now MCCI as a member of ICC must show a different outlook in business management”. Calling upon the need of the hour, he stressed on the need for better educational institution and hospital and encouraged upcoming entrepreneurs to redefine the value old system of business and dream high to achieve greater heights.
The program also witnessed presentation of MCCI member of the year 2010. The recipient was awarded a memento certificate. The award was received by Sentilemba of Chungtia village a proud owner of local hardware and a general store in Mokokchung.
