‘The Electric Guitar’ on centre stage

For the first time in Nagaland, a show of sheer rock instrumentals called “Guitar Surfers” will be held on December 20, Monday evening from 5pm onwards at State Academy Hall, Kohima.,
The show will witness some renowned old school classic musicians in Nagaland. Image Group, organizer of the show, said Guitar Surfers will be “not just any other concert but a show where the electric guitar and its maestro take centre stage!”
The show will feature prominent musicians of the state who contributed and contributes in the music field of Nagaland, and from whom many young musicians draw inspiration from – Zakie Nuh, Thejove Medeo and Thita Vamuzo.
A renowned guitarist and a well known in the music scene, Zakie Nuh has played the lead guitar in popular bands like Lystra, Oleanders, etc. He is a self taught guitarist and also learned classical guitar.
Thejove Medeo has featured with renowned bands like Tedium, Tribal Instinct etc. He is a professional guitarist and is known for his technical ability and proficiency in various styles.
A versatile musician, Thita plays the guitar, keyboards, violin and saxophone. He is an instrumental solo guitarist; although he has worked with many different bands and musicians in the form of guest appearances and collaborations.
Image Group informs that the show is being initiated, taking inspiration from various international shows such as G3, Guitar Wars. It will be a confluence of rock musicians celebrating music.
Ticket will be available at Unitex Inc, Opp. War cemetery; The Hive, Jail colony; Khedi Enterprise, Dzüvürü; Seasons’ Café, C.K Arcade, Kohima.
