“Pay him his wages each day before sunset, because he is poor and is counting on it. Otherwise he may cry to the Lord against you, and you will be guilty of sin”. Quoting the above verse from the Bible (Deuteronomy chapter 24:15), the CANSSEA Friday urged the state government to urgently clear the dues of ANEFWA members, saying it could only bring peace to their families particularly during the festive season. CANSSEA president Dr. K. David Sema and general secretary Vekho Vero, in a release, said central office bearers of CANSSEA met December 16 and resolved to support ANEFWA’s representation and ultimatum submitted to state government. ANEFWA December 16 said it was ready to agitate December 25, if government failed to fulfill its demands. The association is demanding payment of salary to work-charged employees under power department before Christmas, and to fill up all categories of technical posts.
