ICFAI University celebrates advent Christmas

DIMAPUR: The ICFAI University Nagaland held its advent Christmas on December 18 with Fr Chacko of Holy Cross Parish as the speaker. The programme organized by Music Club of ICFAI University was marked by Christmas songs, Christmas lyrics and Christmas notes sung by the music club members.
While welcoming the congregation, Dr Charles P Alexander, Dean of the University said Christmas was a time of reflection, jubilation, spiritual rejuvenation and sharing Gods’ blessing with the poor and destitute.
Delivering the Christmas message, Fr. Chacko said Christmas was all about giving, and trying to make the world a better place.
“Every celebration of Christmas should be filled with the knowledge of God, and only the knowledge of God can gives us wisdom”, he added.
NPF 59th A/C welcomes

DIMAPUR: NPF 59th A/C has welcomed the decision taken by Congress workers of 59th ACCC (I) Sitimi-Seyochung who tendered resignation from their respective post.
The resigned members include Tsapikyu Vice President, S. Samuel Joint Secretary, Ananchu Joint Secretary and Liose general secretary, Sitimi Unit in joining NPF party in support of the sitting MLA & Chairman NSMDC Kipili C Sangtam under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, chief minister and Dr. Shruhozelie, President NPF.

Tailoring, weaving trg concludes

DIMAPUR: Two months training on tailoring and weaving was conducted by Women Welfare Society, T. Chikri, Pfutsero wherein 30 artisans attended the training. The training concluded on December 17 with assistant branch manager, NSCB, Pfutsero branch Y.Imtitemsu Aier as chief guest. Meanwhile, the women society has expressed gratitude to NABARD for sponsoring the training.
