The three-day centenary celebration of Chiechama Baptist Church (CBC) concluded on December 19.
The speaker on the concluding day, Rev. John Kok, vice president, Baptist World Alliance and a senior pastor Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church, Malaysia emphasized on global threat like terrorism and HIV and AIDS.
He said terrorism knew no boundaries, spreading to every corner of the world including India and Malaysia.
He said explosion of HIV and AIDS has become another biggest threat to the people across the world.
Rev. Kok called upon Christians not to be knee-jerked by such threat but true Christians to overcome such threats through Christ.
He said today Christians were facing a turbulent time where false prophets and other anti-Christ elements are trying to woo away Christians.
In the programme, Khoya choir, a choir of women from Chiechama married to outsiders presented special song.
The celebration was attended by over 4000 people including from neighbouring villages and Church representatives under Angami Baptist Church Council.
