Kipili exhorts Kisothong village students

Kisothong Village Students’ Union (Kvsu) celebrated its golden jubilee on December 18 with MLA & Chairman NSMDC, Kipili Sangtam as the chief guest.
The chief guest in his speech said golden jubilee is the most important significance of achievement, both earthly and spiritually. He also said that misunderstanding brings correction in the society but understanding brings peace and unity where people can live in peace and harmony, which results in development.
Sangtam said that without understanding, the celebration of this jubilee would be meaningless and explained that golden jubilee means learning, understanding, fruitful and molding of villages, town and district. He said that students are called the leaders of the future and are the backbone of the nation.
Kipili Sangtam also emphasized that celebrating jubilee means to forget and forgive and enlightening all neighbors with love and reconciliation. He exhorted the students to study hard for molding up knowledge and wisdom in order to achieve the goal in this competitive world. He also urged the students to have an aim in life and objects for future prosperity and to stay away from all destructive vices. Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire also delivered a short speech. The highlights of the occasion included presentation of cultural dances and folk songs.
